The Obligation To Employ People With Disabilities In Romania

In Romania, if you have at least 50 employees, you have a legal obligation to hire disabled people (including third degree invalids) in a percentage of minimum 4% from the total number of employees. The norm is provided at Art. 78 para. (2) from Law no. 448/2006 (as amended). Exceptions are public institutions in defence, public order and national security.
